Hot Hearts Recipe

A delicious artichoke dip served hot
Yield: 4    Preparation Time: 10 mins    Cooking Time: 15 mins
Hot artichoke heart dip, baked with optional chillies and Tabasco. Served as a starter, dip or side-dish with Pumpernickel bread or tortilla chips.


1 large tin artichoke hearts in water
4 oz (113 g) mayonnaise
4 oz (113 g) fresh parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic
Green chillies to taste (optional)
Tabasco (optional)

Recipe Instructions

Chop artichoke hearts, crush garlic cloves and grate parmesan cheese. Chop chillies finely if using.

Mix all the prepared ingredients together with the mayonnaise and pour into a shallow ovenproof dish. Bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees F.

Add chopped chillies and Tabasco if using to taste. Serve with Pumpernickel bread or tortilla chips.
